Distillery District Toronto, Ontario

Every year I like to make it a priority to spend a weekend away with my husband with just the two of us.  The kids usually stay with one of the sets of Grandparents and we have a refreshing, relaxing time together getting to know each other again.  Ha!  Just kidding, but lets be real - children have a way of taking most of our attention and if we aren't careful we certainly could become strangers very quickly!    

Sometimes we only get away once a year but I love to get away in both the beginning of the year and again at the end.  Previously, we've gone to Niagara Falls, Toronto, a lovely cottage on the lake, and a quaint little cabin by the river in the country.  It's always such a fun time and we've laughed at the hilarious memories we've shared in the past.

This year we decided to check out the Distillery District in Toronto.  Here are a few of the images from our time there.  This was back January/February, I believe...  Enjoy!
